【摘要】:1.1Thisclassificationsystemcoverssegmentedblockcopolyether-esterelastomerssuitableformoldingandextrusion.1.2Thisclassificationsystemallowsfortheuseofsegmentedblockcopolyether-esterelastomersthatarerecycledprovidedthattherequirementsasstatedinthisclassificationsystemaremet.Theproportionsofrecycledmaterialused,aswellasthenatureandamountofanycontaminant,however,cannotbecoveredpracticallyinthisspecification.1.3Thepropertiesincludedinthisclassificationsystemarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Itispossiblethatthereareotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.OnewayofspecifyingthemisbyusingthesuffixesasgiveninSection5.1.4Thisclassificationsystemandsubsequentlinecallout(specification)areintendedtoprovideameansofcallingoutplasticmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectionisbestmadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,thecostsinvolved,andtheinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisclassificationsystem.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.6Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section11,ofthisclassificationsystem.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;Thisstandard,ISO14910-1,andISO14910-2addressthesamesubjectmatter,butdifferintechnicalcontent.
