【摘要】:Thispracticeestablishesastandardequipmentcontrolmethodologytoaidinfulfillmentofshortagesderivedfromproductionrequirementsorequipmentfailures.Thispracticeencouragesaninclusiveunderstandingandcommunicationofthecontrolandtrackingofequipment,andenablesmeaningfuldiscussionbetweenpartieswithinterestintheequipment.Thispracticeisintendedtofosterandenableadditionalstandardpracticesrelatedtoorbasedonthesetermsandconcepts.1.1Thispracticedescribestheprocessbywhichopenproductionandfailurerelateddemandrequirementsarefulfilledusingexistingequipmentcomponents.Note18212;Differingapprovalrequirementsaregenerallydictatedbyownershipissues.Forexample,approvalsforcannibalization/reclamationofcompany-ownedpropertymayvarysubstantiallyfromthatrequiredforcustomer-ownedproperty.Inallcases,thespecificapproachtoapprovalsandthelevelsofapprovalrequiredareprescribedbytheentitywithtitleto/ownershipoftheproperty.Theserequirementsareinternaltotheowningentity.Ingeneral,company-ownedpropertyishandledinaccordancewithestablishedpracticespecifictoeachindividualentitywhilecustomer-ownedpropertyishandledbaseduponestablishedpracticesspecifictoeachentityorasspecifiedwithinacontractualdocument.1.2Thispracticeisintendedtobeapplicableandappropriateforallequipment-holdingentities.1.3Thispracticecoverspropertycategorizedasequipment.1.4Thispracticecanbeappliedontoanindividualitemofequipment,groupingsofequipment,ortoall,orasubsetofanentity''sequipment.1.5ThispracticeclarifiesandenableseffectiveandefficientsupportofequipmentinaccordancewiththeprovisionsofPracticeE2279.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
