【摘要】:Thistestmethodenablesthemeasurementofthevolumeoftheapparentdensitycuptoensurethatitcomplieswiththespecifiedvolumeof25.00x00B1;0.03cm3(cylindricalcup),or16.39x00B1;0.05cm3(squarecup).Useofanout-of-specificationcupwillgiveerroneousapparentdensityvaluesusingtheformulaeinTestMethodsB212,B329,andB417.1.1ThistestmethodcoversaprocedureformeasuringthevolumeoftheapparentdensitycupsusedinTestMethodsB212,B329,andB417.1.2Theapparentdensitycup,particularlyitsrim,maybecomewornduringuse,anditisrecommendedthatthevolumeofthecupbecheckedperiodically(atleastevery6months)inordertoensurethatitcomplieswiththespecifiedvolume.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
