【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesforthequalitativeandquantitativedeterminationofdenatoniumioninenginecoolantinmilligramsperlitertolowpercentrangeandrequiresapproximately100mLpertest,withresultsavailableinlessthan30min.Acceptablelevelsofdenatoniumvarywithmanufacturerx2019;sblendingspecificationsandapplicableminimumormaximumindustryandstatespecifications.Typicallyspecificationrangesfrom30to50ppmdenatoniumion.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthechemicalanalysisofenginecoolantfordenatoniumionbyhigh-performanceliquidchromatography(HPLC).1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletobothnewandusedcoolants.1.3Coelutionofotherionsmaycauseinterferencesinthedetectionofthedenatoniumcation.Inthecaseofunfamiliarformulations,identificationverificationshouldbeperformedbyeitherorbothfortificationanddilutionofthesamplematrixwithdenatoniumion..1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
