【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardgivesguidelinesforthedocumentationofinformationsystems(ISs)andisintendedforuseinthatarea.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletothesoftwareofIS.However,someaspectsofhardware,e.g.configurationofthesystem,areincluded.ThisInternationalStandardisnotintendedtobeaguidetothewaydocumentsareorganizedorstructured.Instead,itprovidesachecklistfortwopartiestouseinagreeingondocumentcontent.TheguidelinesgiveninthisInternationalStandardhavebeendevelopedwiththeobjectivesof:·obtainingthenecessarycommitmentofthepartiesinvolvedwiththelifecycleoftheIStoparticipateinthedevelopmentprocess;·contributingtotheproductionofwell-planned,standardizedsoftwaresystemdocuments;·enablingtheproductionofsoftwaresystemdocumentsinparallelwiththesoftwarelifecycle.Well-definedrulesfordocumentsduringthesoftwarelifecyclefacilitates:·theprovisionofrelevantinformation;·thepreparationofthedocumentationitself;·estimationofthetimeandresourcesrequiredfortheachievementofaproject;·exchangeofinformationbetweenpartiesconcerned,resultingin:-selectionofattainableobjectivesforasystem;-amorecompleteandwell-consideredfunctionaldesign;-fewermisunderstandingsandmistakes;·makingdecisionsandbriefingofpersonnelduringthesoftwarelifecycle.ThisInternationalStandardisdesignedtobeapplicabletothewholerangeofISsandrecognizesthesoftwarecomponentofasystemmayvaryfromaminorparttoamajorcomplexcomponent.ThisInternationalStandardappliestodocumentsinanynaturallanguageorrepresentationandisindependentofthemediumusedforitsimplementation,i.e.,theprinciplesaregenerallyapplicable,butinsomecasestheremaybedifferencesinstructureandformat.AlthoughthisInternationalStandardisintendedmainlyforuseinthesoftwareengineering(SE)area,therewillbeothergroupsinvolvedlessdirectlywithSEincludingthoseinvolvedinSEstrategy,peoplewithSErequirements,SEcustomersandSEusers.ThisInternationalStandardisrelevanttothosegroups.Thegroupswillproducesomeofthedocuments(e.g.,strategy,customerrequirementsanduserdocuments).AssociatedwithSEactivitiesaremethods,techniquesandtools.Manyoftheseproductshavetheirowndocumentationfacilities.Softwareengineersmayusedocumentsofthistype,butshouldensuretheprinciplesandpracticesgiveninthisInternationalStandardareobserved.
